These Watermelon Tourmaline beads are graduated in size from 4.5mm to 6.5mm and the strand weighs 93 carats in total. These rare beads are hand cut and hand faceted by a highly skilled gem cutter and were cut to our specifications. Each bead displays at least two colours and the natural colour split in most of the beads is very prominent. This strand has outstanding colour for bi-colour Tourmaline with very rich pinks and greens throughout the strand.
These are an incredibly rare type of bead because Watermelon Tourmaline of this grade is usually cut only for ring stones and is not normally cut into beads due to the amount of waste the cutting creates.
The strand displays excellent clarity for Tourmaline which is a naturally included gemstone.
